Fall Back - Remember to Change your Batteries...

October is Fire Safety Month

Did you know two-thirds of home fire deaths occur in homes without a working smoke alarm?

A smoke alarm is one of the best safety measures for protecting yourself, your family and your home. Every smoke alarm in your home should be tested monthly and the batteries replaced at least once a year.

As the November 2nd time change approaches, It is my hope that this message will encourage your family’s safety and remind you that now is the time to replace your smoke alarm batteries.

This fall may also be the perfect time for you to buy or sell your home, thanks to low inventory and interest rates near historic lows.

Please contact me today so we can discuss your real estate needs.

A helpful tip: Change your batteries each year during the "fall back" time change at the conclusion of daylight savings time. Creating a mental association between resetting your clocks backwards and replacing your smoke alarm batteries will make it easier to remember this important task.
