1. When did you start your Soul Purpose business?
- Soul Purpose with Candace began on Friday February 4, 2011.
2. Why did you choose Soul Purpose?
- I chose to be a Soul Purpose Lifestyle Entrepreneur for several reasons: (1) I fell in love with the fabulous natural, organic, and botanical health and beauty products, (2) I would be the Owner/CEO of my own business, (3) I saw the opportunity to incorporate Soul Purpose with Candace into my event planning business, Joiful Faith Event Planning, LLC, for Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Ladies Night and other special occasions, (4) the empowerment of entrepreneurs to realize their purpose and to help others to do the same, and (5) the support, love, honesty, and integrity shown by my mentor/leader Sherri Hayes.
3. What keeps you motivated?
- My love and passion to do what I love and love what I do is my motivation. I am motivated each day to give my all and be the best “Me” I am able to be because there is only one “Me”, all that I do is to please and honor God, to be a successful entrepreneur/leader, and by encouraging myself. My motivation also comes from my family, my mentor/leader (Sherri Hayes), my team members (Nicole Martin, Syreeta Elmore, and Senovia Brasley), and knowing that someone is always watching so I have to give my all because something I say or do will inspire them (young or old) to dream big and accomplish their goals.
4. What advice would you give to new direct marketing Entrepreneurs?
- Reach for the Stars. Remember we are all designed and equipped to “Live a Divinely Inspired and Victoriously Anointed Golden Life.” When you put and keep God first and allow Him to order your steps the Impossible is ALWAYS POSSIBLE. It may seem scary, hard, and even the thought of approaching someone to tell them about your business and products is terrifying but IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AND IT IS NOT, when you have God on your side. You will be successful when you Believe in yourself, know yourself worth, have unlimited confidence, is knowledgeable about your products and services, can share your testimony, and step out on faith. 9 times out of 10 people will be open to hearing what you have to say. For those who are not open all they can say is “No.” When someone says “No” move on to the next person and keep on keepin’ on.

- Soul Purpose is an awesome company and community to be apart of. Since I have become a Lifestyle Entrepreneur I have been on cloud nine and do not plan to get off. The Ladies of Team Naira, Team Elite Essence, and Team Journey are ALL SPECTACULAR!! They have become an addition to my family, my cheerleaders, and support line. Soul Purpose stands firmly by its word to empower women and help others to realize and obtain their Soul Purpose.
Last, but not least.....What do you do for fun, when you’re not “finding your Soul Purpose”?
- When am I not “finding my Soul Purpose?” LOL…. My fun/free time is spent having quality time with my husband and family. I enjoy reading, shopping, watching movies, playing games-family night, watching shows that are related to the party and wedding industry (i.e. My Fair Wedding with David Tutera), bowling, go-karts, and just having plain old simple fun with lots of laughter and love (healing for the soul).
